Turkey and Croatia will battle it out for a spot in Euro 2012 when they meet in a two-legged playoff round. The first game will be held in Istanbul on Nov. 11th at Ataturk Olympic Stadium. The two teams will then head to Zagreb to do it all over again just four days later at Stadion Maksimir.

Turkey had the tough task to be in the same group with Germany, who finished the campaign unbeaten. Croatia did not manage to surpass Greece and has to go through the play-offs.

Will Croatia beat Turkey tonight?

This was the question that I spotted on November 11th 2011 on the "Horarna Astrologija - pitaj konkretno forum" from a member, "Baphomet" , a huge fan of the Coatian national footbal team. Here is the horary chart cast for date, place and time of when "Baphomet" asked the question:

Let's see what the chart says!

After looking at the chart I left the following post on the "Horarna Astrologija - pitaj konkretno forum" a few hours before the match:

I think Croatia will win!

In this type of chart, Croatia is given the first house ruler on the basis of the supporter's identification with the team: that is an exalted Saturn. The Moon, being the 7th house ruler, represents Croatia's opponent, Turkey. The Moon is also exalted. In this type of question, the most important considerations are accidental dignities and in this chart they favour Croatia (represented by Saturn):

As you can see, this is a big difference, and on that basis, I expect Croatia will win!

You might say: "Hang on! The Moon is exalted and in an angular house whereas Saturn, although exalted, is in a cadent house? So how can Saturn win?"

However we could counter that by pointing out that the Moon is in oposition with the Sun and the aspect is less than 8 degrees. This is similar to combustion so the Moon is very weak!! .

After the match on the website I read the following text:

"Euro 2012 Qualifying Playoffs: Turkey vs. Croatia

Croatia Cruise To 3-0 Away Win

Things just didn't go Turkey's way in the first leg of their Euro 2012 playoff as they were demolished 3-0 at home by a rampant Croatia."
